ARRIS is meeting the growing subscriber demand for HD and 4K content with the MG2 (DCX900) Video Gateway. The MG2 Video Gateway is the next step in the evolution of home TV viewing. The MG2 is a dramatic improvement over existing set-tops –it has full 4Kp60 output, supports HDR10 programming, and runs the intuitive TiVo user experience. It is a media hub which means it connects to other client set-tops, and distributes and shares video content throughout the home. With its 6 tuners, you can record or watch multiple channels at the same time in different rooms. It comes with a 1 TB hard drive, so you can record and store just about all the video you’ll ever want.

Improved Watch-and-Record Capabilities
Consumers value the watch-and-record flexibility they get with the MG2 Video Gateway. It comes with an integrated MoCA® 2.0 home networking interface, which allows it to serve as a high-speed multimedia hub via existing coaxial cables in walls for sharing content with other compatible devices in the home, creating an IP home network without having to install new wiring. This delivers whole home networking for service like Multi-Room DVR. With MR DVR you can record or pause, fast-forward or replay the shows you are watching on any TV in your home.

TiVo® Integration
At 12000 DMIPS, the MG2 is the highest performing gateway supporting the TiVo® user experience on the market. For multi-room DVR, the MG2 interoperates with ARRIS supplied TiVo® IP Clients (Minis). The integrated transcoding feature of the MG2 delivers simultaneous streaming of live and recorded content to mobile devices (iOS or Android). In addition, the MG2 supports standard TiVo features such as integrated search across linear channels, video on demand, and streaming applications.
