Features and Benefits

The ARRIS DCX4400 Hybrid UHD Set-top provides a cost effective design that allows you to grow your IP network while supporting existing linear QAM programming.

The DCX4400 provides support for High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC or H.265), offering up to 50% bandwidth savings on the H.264 standard. HEVC can be used by operators to deliver a superior quality of experience within the same bandwidth or to increase their existing capacity by re-encoding existing assets. The DCX4440 comes with a full-band capture tuner, as well as an embedded DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem that allows for streaming of IP services. USB 2.0 allows the connection of external peripherals and Bluetooth^® Low Energy allows support for an optional advanced remote control unit and features such as voice search.
